Our process helping you get your project underway
Whether it be a flood from an NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program) event, failed roofing system, leaky Air Condition, Hot Water Heater or failed Plumbing or Drainage System you can count on our experienced staff to properly mitigate, remediate and renovate your property to pre-claim condition quickly, professionally and in budget.
Mitigation is doing what's reasonable and within your abilities to prevent further loss after an event calls for filing a property insurance claim. As a policy holder it's your duty to mitigate the risk of further loss. we help with roof tarping services, window & door board up services, removal of water damaged content and building components. site security and tenant relocation assistance following a condemned property loss. pack-out services and most preventative measures needed to protect the property from further damage are provided.
Initial Inspection, Assessment and Pack-Out services:
We will arrive at your property at your convenience 24 hours a day and perform an initial damage assessment and layout a plan to dry out your property and begin your restoration process.
Pack-Out. We assist in moving and storing your non-damaged contents for the duration of your restoration project by way of: On-site/off-site storage containers, mini storage/warehouse placement, or at our special disaster operation facilities.
Demolition, Air Movers, Dehumidifiers, Thermal Imaging and moisture readings:
Remediation is the first phase of the process. We provide the manpower to remove all flood damaged materials, help inventory and process your water damaged content and supply moisture removal equipment to bring your property back to normal moisture levels for reconstruction. We use thermal-imaging devices ( FLIR ) to find moisture in walls and other hidden areas and test daily for moisture levels in the property in preparation of the restoration phase of the project. Placement of Air Movers, Dehumidifiers, and Air Scrubbers are available on all projects and are almost always payable by direct billing to the property insurance provider via separate billing from your restoration claim.
Mold Testing and Treatment:
Before installing new insulation and hanging your replacement drywall, all water damaged properties require mold abatement. While we do not treat properties ourselves we do work with local licensed mold treatment specialist. After your moisture levels are at the proper natural state of moisture we will provide moisture meter test results and schedule a certified mold remediation contractor to come in and apply the proper chemical mold abatement treatment and have a mold certificate prepared for you by a licensed mold contractor.
Insurance Documents and Claim Supplement process:
Proper documents and complete restoration estimates are prepared and provided to our clients, as well as their insurance provider and lender to insure that the project is fully funded and repaired to pre-flood damage condition with modern like kind and quality building components. Supplements are request to the insurance provider for additional funding not covered under the initial scope of work provided by the insurance company adjuster. We will provide a complete estimate and supplement request documents even if our clients hire other design contractors for the final completion of their restoration project.** Our on staff certified adjusters utilize the latest insurance estimate and billing software.
Restoration Phase:
(The 1st half -50%- of your flood restoration)
After your moisture levels in your building components have been restored to proper levels and your walls and floors have been treated for mold we can begin the restoration process. Generally flood houses need new electrical outlets, insulation, drywall, interior trim and door packages, windows if damaged, as well as exterior doors and wall covering materials and interior walls, trim and door painting. We manage all this for our clients bringing your house to the design phase of your restoration project. As a general rule this will bring your project to 50% completion under your mortgage company guidelines.
Property Owner / Lender Inspection scheduling:
Most flooded property owners we work with have a mortgage loan of some type. Regular inspection of the restoration process will be performed by the lender along with one of our project mangers and the property owner/manager. Payments for your restoration project are generally managed by your lender and are disbursed based on a percentage of completion value / trade phase of the project. We have developed a draw schedule and operating system to comply with lenders inspection schedule which will speed up the restoration process when scheduling inspections by the lender. This assures that the work is completed on time and in budget.

Flooring, Kitchen, Tile, Bathroom design consultation:
(The 2nd half -50%- of your flood restoration)
Interior design work is a very specialized, detailed, personal phase of the process. We have learned that most property owners want to take full control of this process by picking out flooring, cabinets, counter tops, vanities and other unique architectural components. We prefer to assist our clients at this phase, rather than actually trying to perform the specialty work needed to fulfill our clients design plans by providing information on local quality design supplier / contractors. We have kitchen and Bathroom design professionals on our roster to fulfill most clients design concepts.
